hTrak is based on a web server environment allowing central control over data and the management of the handheld data collection profile. This allows us to offer clients the ability to tightly control the data environment in which the departments operate. This can include elements such as:
- Inventory profile (approved devices)
- GL codes
- Hospital product codes
- Pricing
- Stock Classification
Even if some of these controls are not in place, hTrak can still provide aggregated reporting because we use the manufacturer's barcode to uniquely identify the device. This allows aggregated reporting even across sites which may currently use different GL and hospital product codes.
Once enough meaningful data has been collected, reporting can be established which allows benchmarking of procedural activity. Appropriately authorised persons can access the hTrak data for multiple sites from an industry standard web browser. Each site and collection point (lab) is uniquely identified as part of the data collection process, allowing individual or aggregated analysis.
Reporting access can be provided on an ad-hoc basis, or standard reports constructed and delivery automated, according to a fixed timetable.
Supply chain activity can operate at an individual site level, or can be aggregated for a more centralised approach to the day to day management.
hTrak has the ability to manage contracts across multiple sites, allowing the correct supplier and pricing information to be applied to the requisitions or orders raised or processed through the system.
