The ability for Finance to obtain accurate, costed stock valuations for high cost procedure areas is becoming increasingly important. Traditionally, this has been an extremely manual and time consuming process.

hTrak clients are provided with a stocktaking application, sTrak, which is based on our scanning and data extraction algorithms. Clerical staff can run this tool on any PC or laptop with a very basic scanner such as the Symbol Cobra. This application allows rapid stocktaking to be undertaken, scanning the manufacturer's barcode on the device packaging. This speeds up the process enormously and greatly improves accuracy.

You even have the facility to turn on a flag which mandates collection of Lot No/expiry. This will enable a report to be run which identifies all "at risk" stock such as those which expire in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, etc., as well as all the standard reports associated with stock take activity. Because the costs are part of the client inventory profile, all stock take reports are automatically costed and can be generated by supplier, by category, by location, etc.
